SHRM Events and Activities for the week of November 9th – 13th

Here are the events for the week:
Wednesday, November 11th – Committee Meetings
This Wednesday we will be meeting with our committees to discuss goals and objectives for this semester. If you are looking to get involved with SHRM or are thinking about applying for an officer position for next year, committees are a great way to show what you can do.
**IMPORTANT RETURNING MEMBERS**
If you guys have paid full membership and have a National SHRM membership right now, please send me your National SHRM ID. I am requesting your ID so that National SHRM can renew on that account instead of creating another account for you, which we take away from the length of your membership. What I mean by that is that if your membership ends in January and I send your dues in now with no ID, National SHRM will create a new account in December for you instead of renewing your account which will allow you to have your membership renewed in January. Please send me your ID by Wednesday, November 11.

Communiversity Event – Mock Interviews
Thursday November 19th TU SHRM will be assisting TUHR Director of Community Outreach and Hiring,Michael Robinson, with mock interview for the community.
How it works:
We (Temple SHRM) will be paired along with TUHR directors and managers in a group. We will have prepared interview questions to ask the community members who attend. After three questions asked and answered by one “interviewee”, there will be a feedback session where we along with TUHR administrators will let the interviewees know their strengths and developmental opportunities.
