As of fall 2014, the new professional achievement points program is in place! The program has been designed to help enhance each HRM major’s professionalism so that they can become more marketable as a business student! E-Portfolios will be used by each student to track points that they will acquire throughout the semester through involvement in various professional development activities inside and outside of the Fox School of Business.

As more information and videos become available explaining the new program, they will be posted in this section of the website. More detailed information about the program can be found on our new HRM community site.

How Can I Get Points?

 Professional Achievement Points

You can earn HRM Professional Achievement points for the following activities:

  • Professional Development: The Basics
  • HRM Knowledge and Development
  • Community/Campus Involvement
  • Networking
  • Internships and HR-Related Work Experience

Instructions for receiving credit for internship

Submit to HRM Internships (hrmpoint@temple.edu) the following:

  1. Offer letter
  2. Contact information including name, title, email, and phone number of the HR professional or hiring manager who can verify the internship.
  3. Link to a post on your e-portfolio which includes details on who you will be working for, background information on the firm, your role, and how this will relate to your studies.
